My first post really sums up where I'm at. I would recommend starting there.
But let me introduce myself further by giving a little background on my immediate family.
My husband is a scientist and my children are early elementary aged. In the spirit of anonymity, let's refer to my husband as the Mad Hatter, because quite frankly he is a little mad.
My 7 year old son is an emotionally intense and gifted kid. Let's call him The March Hare because in some ways he is a carbon copy of his dad.
My 5 year old daughter is sweet, loving, but sassy and stubborn all at once. Although she is the youngest, she is definitely The Queen of Hearts.
Now that introductions have been made, I can refer to them in later posts.
